How On-Page SEO Worked Like Charm for me

Hello Friends, I am Sanu Siddharth, from OnlyLoudest.com,which is a decent blog having 28K Alexa rank with Good social and Organic presence. So, today I decided to share my strategies which helped me get success with my blog. As the title suggests, On Page SEO is what I am going to explain in this post with some self examples.

As you know, On-Page SEO is one half of search engine optimization which is considered very important, if you are looking to rank high on Google. But I have seen people focusing on Off-Page factors more than On Page, That’s the main reason behind the failure of so many bloggers. They really don’t know the power of On-Site Search Engine Optimization and those who know, don’t have an idea about “How to do it?”. So, in this post, I will explain both sections “How it worked for me?” and “How should you do it?”.

How On-Page SEO Worked for me?

First of all, doing everything manually is hard work and doing everything using plugins, tools is laziness. So, I always focused on 50-50 strategy. In simple words, I Use Plugins and Tools where it is needed, otherwise I do everything manually, especially when it comes to writing Search Engine Optimized content.

In My thinking, Quality content which is written for both search engines and Readers, covers a major part of On-Page SEO. So, you should concentrate on this factor first, leaving others for a later time.

Below is a list of Tools and Plugins which I use for On-Page:-

1. Easy WP SEO

Well, I love this plugin. Because it really helps in optimization of posts by giving different goals while writing. But On thing I wanna say, never Ever write according to this Plugin, Firstly, write your post for Readers and when you explained everything, then try to put keywords in it with the help of Easy WP SEO. It will also help you maintain keyword density making your post search engine friendly. Below are some screenshots of my recent post on OnlyLoudest which was optimized using this plugin.

You can see in this screenshot, SEO score is 76% and keyword density is 1.13%.

Completing these simple goals will increase your SEO score as I have done, which you can see in the screenshot.

Check the Content's Readability Score

Keep Readability section all green will make your posts more search engine friendly as I have done in the above screenshot.

In simple words, this plugin will let you write a perfect post. But In case, you get any difficulty while using this plugin, you can just follow simple points in have mentioned below in a list.

  • Use Targeted keyword in first and last 100 words of your article.
  • Use Italics, Bold, Underline formatting on targeted keyword.
  • Add one external and Internal link using exact targeted keyword or some related keyword.
  • Add Alt Tags for Images including Targeted keyword.
  • Add Heading tags (H2,H3,H4) in your post using Targeted keywords.

2. WordPress SEO by Yoast

It is an another Plugin for search engine optimization which is very regularly used. I think, the majority of people know “How to use this plugin” because it is so easy. You just need to enter Focus Keyword and Description of each post and you are done. Below is the screenshot of my post which will help you understand it the better way.

3.  SEO Friendly Images

I use this plugin to make Images SEO Friendly. It automatically adds Alt Tags to Images where we forget to add, which I rarely do, but still, it’s worth using this plugin.

4. Broken Link Checker

As you know, presence of broken links on your blog can ruin all your efforts. So, it’s very important to get rig of all broken links, but it will not be an easy task, if done manually. So, I use this Plugin which automatically finds all broken links and give me many activity options. So, I can remove or repair them in bulk.

Final Words

So, this is “How On Page SEO Worked for me”. I regularly use these tools  and it has given awesome results. One additional thing I care about is “Loading Speed of my blog” which is an another important factor. Although it will only affect 1%, but still enough to get you high rankings. So, always check your blog loading time using “Google Page Insights or Pingdom tool and try to reduce loading time suing methods like “Using JPEG Image format, Removal of unwanted plugins, Light weight theme, Loading JavaScript in Footer, etc..

If you follow these steps which I have done,You will surely get success with your blog. In case, if you have any confusion, feel free to ask via comments.
