Blogger or WordPress, Which one is your money on?

Blogger or WordPress, which one is your money on?Can someone please help me out? In as much as we are talking of either to go in with blogger or wordpress, can someone please help me out with respect to whom a jolly writer is? As usual, it appears I am somehow addicted to my email as that is the first thing I check anytime I wake but seeing one message with a subject matter ‘QUESTION’ and I was like wow.

It was from a fellow blogger and it went something like this; can I please refer to you as the Jolly writer? You hardly write long articles but your articles are always unique. How can I be like you?

Talking of writing long articles, I hate reading long articles myself unless the writer can grab my attention from the beginning to the end. Offering boring lectures all in the name of trying to catch some numbers isn’t something I fancy at all.

It is better for the images to do the rest of the talking other than delivering trash. So the Jolly writer wants to entertain (even though I don’t understand it) Hahaha! And that is why I am here with post today but the question is; where does your money lie, is it on blogger or wordpress?

But as usual before we move back to business, stay tuned for the Episode 3 of the Little Johnny Series. Hahaha!

Little Johnny Story Episode 3

Little Johnny in a hurry used the ladies ‘toilet in a posh hotel’.

He sat down and noticed four buttons – WW, WA, PP and APR. Curious, he pressed WW and his butt was gently sprayed with WARM WATER, he loved it so much!

He then pressed WA and a blast of WARM AIR dried him up. Still loving it, he pressed PP and a POWDER PUFF made him smell fresh.

Feeling pampered, he decided to press the last button APR. He later woke up in a hospital.

A nurse smiled and said to him, “Sir, APR means AUTOMATIC PAD REMOVER. When the machine couldn’t find a pad on you, it went for your balls. Your balls are in the jar over there.”

Hahaha! Little Johnny I guess has learnt his lessons and so have you I guess as well. Lets move back to business as usual and you know; we are talking of either to go in with wordpress or blogger.

This is a major topic and it was something I had no intention of delving into until I stumbled upon this with respect to the difference between WordPress and Blogger from howtomakemyblog.com

This is a major topic and it was something I had no intention of delving into until I stumbled upon this with respect to the difference between WordPress and Blogger from howtomakemyblog.com From the look of things, wordpress seem to be the favourite of many bloggers and so I ask myself this; why? Many are of course of the view that any professional blogger should be on wordpress and another fallacy going about is the fact that all private advertisers love wordpress. Experience with Blogger I have placed my money on both of these blogging platforms and this has being my experience. With blogger.com, I was a poet on it. I was sharing my poetic verses on it. There was nothing like bothering of domain renewal, hosting and one thing I loved about it the most had to do with the fact that it was most the most secured blogging platform. There is nothing like worrying about hacking. It is the most secured blogging platform as far as security is concern. My memorable experience as a blogger user had to do with getting my first private advertiser through their platform on a 90 day deal. Hahaha! I think I have listed some of the pros of using blogger but what about the cons? What are some of the disadvantages of using blogger? I think one of the boring reasons for using a blogger.com platform has to do with that .blogspot.com extension and moreover, Google might decide to ban you anytime they feel like. That isn't of course a good news. Consider having your own .com and that is when domainking.ng and…. Come in. Experience with WordPress My first experience with wordpress was a bitter one. I guess you might be wondering how? I was so naïve and simply had no idea where to start and where to end. Talk of plugins sent chill down my spine. Hahaha! But aside that, it obviously gives a professional touch as there are lots of range of themes to choose from. That professional is what distinguishes itself from blogger but please be mindful of hackers, wordpress is the porous and hacking-prone platform and one notorious for spammers. Hahaha! Your Turn Now Now the question therefore is; Blogger or WordPress, which one is your money on? Let me hear your take on this.

  1. If i had to choose i will go for blogger. No matter how google’s rules are, security matters much for me. Imagine loosing your entire blog in blimk of eye ahahaha. Has a developer and ex hacker, worpress is just a 2 click hackable app. On wordpress, you are never secured.

  2. @Ahmed, who doesn’t like security? In terms of security, blogger.com indeed stands tall.

Thanks for your comment and do have a great day.
